OUR MISSION

SAD is a no-kill shelter and receives no government funding of any kind. For that reason we rely solely on donations and fundraising to keep operating.
We generate our income from

1. Walk a thons in the summer.

2. A Radioathon

3. Boarding

4. And through Adoptions

5. All this helps to maintain the facilities.

We have a large team of volunteers without whom we could not operate. Our volunteers help in many ways at the shelter, The Sunshine Shop and on the website.
