We are governed by a Board of Volunteer Directors and are always looking for new animal lovers to join our organization.

As SAD has only a few paid members of staff, we are always needing volunteers in a Big way. There are several different ways you can volunteer:

* Helping out at the shelter.
* Helping out at the Sunshine Shop
* On our various Committees such as Fundraising, Membership, Newsletter.
* Becoming a Foster Home.
* Being a Handyman/woman at the shelter.
* Being one of our Drivers for Vet runs.
* Helping at our fundraising events.
* Selling raffle tickets at various places around town.
* Working at Bingo. This consists of selling bingo cards, paying out the winners and keeping a record of the night's activities. There are always three members working and we average 2 bingos a month.
